Overview

Each Authorization Group can have one responsible (the primary owner) and one or more delegates (secondary managers). Both roles can manage group memberships and deactivation events; access to edit group settings depends on the user's broader permissions.

The responsible

The responsible is configured on the group Edit settings page. Only one responsible can be assigned per group at a time. To change the responsible, open Edit settings, click Search next to the responsible field, select the new user, and save.

Adding delegates

  1. Open the group and navigate to the Delegates tab in the group detail view.
  2. Enter the user's personal code (HR ID) in the input field, or click the search button to look up by name or username.
  3. Click Add delegate.
  4. A confirmation banner appears when the delegate has been successfully added.

To remove a delegate, click the remove icon next to their row in the delegates list.

Delegate history

The Delegates history tab records all additions and removals, including the date and the operator who made each change.

Role badges in the check-user view

When searching a user's group memberships via the Check user panel, groups where the user is a responsible display a Responsible badge, and groups where they are a delegate display a Delegate badge.

My groups view

The Groups you are responsible for and Groups you delegated tabs on the Manage Authorization Groups home page give a quick overview of the current user's management responsibilities across all groups.
