Overview
The Members tab inside a group detail view lists all current members with their status, insertion date, and optional expiry date. Explicit and Mix groups allow manual management; Calculated groups are read-only.
Adding a member
Click Add member. You can add by personal code (HR ID) or by email address (for external or mailing groups). An optional expiry date can be set — leave it blank for a permanent membership. An optional internal note field is also available.
Expiry dates and extension
Members with an expiry date show a countdown in the list. When a membership is expiring within 7 days, an Expiring soon badge appears with a quick-extend link. To extend, click the badge or use Extend deadline and enter a new date that is later than the current expiry.
Removing a member
Click the remove icon next to a member row. Inherited memberships (from child groups or calculated rules) cannot be removed manually — the badge tooltip explains this restriction.
Membership status badges
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Acquired | Member is confirmed active in this group. |
| Calculated to acquire | User matches the rules but the explicit snapshot is pending the next cron run. |
| Inherited | Membership derived from a child group — managed automatically by the sync process. |
| Internal calc | Internally calculated — not yet synchronized to external provisioning systems. |
| Synced | Account is synchronized in Office 365. |
| Pending | Azure Active Directory account exists but synchronization is pending. |
| Not found | No Azure Active Directory account found for this user. |
| Cloud Files synced | Synchronized in the Cloud Files server group. |
| Cloud Files pending | Pending synchronization to the Cloud Files server. |
Exporting the member list
Click Export to download a CSV file of all active members, including personal code, full name, username, membership date, and expiry date.
Global groups
For global groups, the member list aggregates users across all brands. An informational note at the top of the tab explains this behaviour.
