What this tab shows
The Applications and Permissions tab in a group detail view provides a consolidated view of every application permission and external license entitlement that is associated with this group. It aggregates three distinct sources into a single table:

| Microsoft License | Microsoft License | An Office 365 / Microsoft 365 license assigned to the Azure Active Directory group linked to this Authorization Group. Only visible when an Azure AD Group ID is configured and the Microsoft Graph API connection is active. |
Badge count in the tab header
The tab displays a count badge showing the total number of permission and license entries across all three sources. A count of zero means this group currently has no directly managed permissions or detected integrations.
Manual Override entries
Manual Override entries show the exact permission name and its configured value. These permissions are managed in the Manage Permissions or Permissions Workflow applications and are reflected here for reference. You cannot edit them directly from this tab — use the appropriate permissions application to make changes.
Automatically detected entries
Automatically detected entries are populated by OpenStudio when it recognizes that an external application or internal service is using this group for access control or routing. The reason column explains the source of the detection (for example, OpenStudio native application or Microsoft Groups).
Microsoft license entries
When the group is linked to an Azure Active Directory group with an Azure AD Group ID, OpenStudio queries the Microsoft Graph API to retrieve any licenses assigned to that Azure AD group. These licenses (such as Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Office 365 E3) are then listed in this tab. This gives administrators a single place to see both platform permissions and cloud license assignments without switching between OpenStudio and the Azure portal.
