The URL Shortener is available under the Benefits menu. It generates short, trackable links in the format https://www.openstudio.one/s/[code] that redirect to any destination URL you provide.
Creating a short link
- Paste the full destination URL into the input field at the top of the page.
- Click Generate.
- The short link appears immediately in your links table below. Copy it with the Copy button.
Duplicate detection: If the destination URL has already been shortened by you and the link is still active, the system will return the existing short code rather than creating a duplicate.
Your links table
The table below the input form lists all your active short links with:
- Date created — date and time the link was generated.
- Destination URL — the original long URL, truncated with a hover tooltip showing the full address.
- Short link — the shortened URL, with a Copy button and a direct Open link.
- Visits — the total number of times the short link has been followed.
Deleting a link
Click the button in the Actions column next to any link and confirm the deletion. The short link will stop redirecting immediately.
Note: Short links are personal — you can only see and manage links you created yourself. Deleting a link is permanent; anyone who follows the old short URL will receive an error page.
