Method 1: Immediate Revocation (Block)
If you need to remove a user's access immediately (e.g., due to a security concern or termination), use the Block/Disable function. This action instantly removes the active permission record.
- Locate the user in the Active Authorizations list.
- Click the Disable button (Red Ban Icon ) located in the Actions column.
- Confirm the action in the popup window.
Impact: The user loses access immediately. If they are currently using the feature, their next click will fail. The record is moved to the History tab with a status of "Manual Revoke".
Method 2: Scheduled Expiration (Soft Offboarding)
For planned departures or temporary access, it is better to set an expiration date rather than deleting the record.
- Click the Edit button (Pencil Icon) next to the user.
- In the Validity Settings, set the Valid Until date to the user's last day.
- Click Save Edits.
The user will retain access until 23:59:59 on that date, after which the system will automatically expire the permission without further admin intervention.
Method 3: Revoking Profiles
If a user has access via a Permission Profile, you cannot revoke individual rights from the main list (they appear as "Read Only"). Instead:
- Switch to the Assigned Users tab (or access the specific Profile definition).
- Find the user assignment row.
- Click the Revoke / Remove button.
