How can I deliver mass communication to users, or categories of operators?

InfoComm (Information & Communication) is the mass-messaging tool for reaching users across different channels simultaneously. It is available under Administration → InfoComm.

The three delivery channels

You can enable one or more channels for a single communication — recipients are merged across all selected channels.

Recipient targeting

When composing a message you can address it to:

  • Specific users — search and select individuals by name or personal code.
  • Departments — all users assigned to one or more organizational Departments.
  • Areas — all users in all Departments belonging to an Area.
  • User categories / groups — members of a specific authorization group.

How to send a communication

  1. Open Administration → InfoComm and click New Communication.
  2. Fill in the subject and message body (rich text supported).
  3. Enable the channels you want to use (Widget, Toolbar, Email — at least one required).
  4. Define your recipients using the targeting options.
  5. Click Prepare & Review to preview the full recipient list before sending.
  6. Confirm to dispatch. Sent communications appear in the history list with recipient counts per channel.
