How to add or remove a Delegate for an Authorization Group?

Opening the Delegates tab

Open the group from the list and navigate to the Delegates tab in the group detail view.

Adding a new delegate

  1. Enter the user's personal code (HR ID) in the input field, or click the search button to look up the user by name or username.
  2. Click Add delegate.
  3. A confirmation banner appears when the delegate has been successfully added. The new delegate immediately gains access to manage the group's memberships.

Removing a delegate

Click the icon next to the delegate's name in the delegates list. The delegate will immediately lose access to manage the group.

Delegates history

At the bottom of the Delegates tab, the History of Delegates panel records all additions and removals, including the date of the change and the operator who made it.

Note on the Responsible

The group Responsible is a separate role from delegates. There can only be one responsible per group, and they are assigned via the Edit settings page, not the Delegates tab. See Who is a Delegate for an Authorization Group? for a comparison of both roles.
