Manage Intranet is the back-end administration tool for the organisation's internal website (Intranet). It is available under Administration → Manage Intranet and provides access to three distinct management areas.
The three sections
| Section | What it manages |
|---|---|
| Pages & Structure | Static content pages, sidebar navigation items, and page visibility settings. Use this to create or edit the informational pages users see when they visit the Intranet. |
| News Center | News articles, announcements, and comments. Use this to publish, edit, and moderate content that appears in the Intranet news feed. |
| Engagement Analytics | Read-only statistics on news reach, department participation, and poll results. Provides insight into how users are interacting with Intranet content. |
Permissions
Each section is controlled independently:
- Pages & Structure and News Center both require the
manage_intranet_adminStructurepermission. - Engagement Analytics requires the
manage_intranet_viewAnalyticspermission. - The Founder has access to all three sections by default.
Sections you do not have permission to access are shown as greyed-out cards on the dashboard — they are visible but not clickable.
Note: Manage Intranet controls the administration side of the Intranet. To access the Intranet as a reader, use the Intranet link in the sidebar under Data.
