Permissions Workflow is the application for managing Permission Packages — reusable bundles of one or more permissions from different applications. Instead of granting individual permissions one by one across multiple apps, an administrator assigns a Package to a user and all included permissions are provisioned at once.
What a Package contains
Each Package has:
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Name and description | A label and a short description identifying the role or purpose (e.g. "Area Manager Permissions"). |
| Structures scope | One or more organizational structures, or the whole organization. Controls which users can be added to it. |
| Permissions | One or more application permissions with their configured values and optional parameters. |
| Users | The members currently assigned to the Package. Active and former members are tracked separately. |
Why use Packages instead of manual grants?
- Speed: Grant ten permissions across five applications in a single click.
- Consistency: Everyone assigned the same Package gets exactly the same permission values.
- Auditability: Each assignment generates a PDF report. The User Details view shows the live status of every permission for every user.
- Maintainability: When a permission value changes, use Sync to push the update to all existing users at once.
How to access Permissions Workflow
Open Administration → Permissions Workflow from the sidebar. The landing page lists all existing Packages with their status, structure scope, and active user count.
