What is the Periodic Review?
The Periodic Review is a mandatory governance cycle that occurs every 6 months. You must explicitly certify that users with "Non-Standard" access (Manual Overrides, Profiles, or Packages) still require that access.
The Certification Workflow
If the Launchpad shows an Action Required badge:
1. Filter Pending Reviews
Click Start Review. The interface will display your team grouped by Department. Only users who are Overdue (last checked > 6 months ago) or have never been checked will appear in the "Pending" list.
2. Review the User Card
Each pending user card summarizes their risk profile:
- Manuals: The number of custom overrides.
- Last Check: The date of the previous certification.
- Audit Button: Opens their full permission matrix for inspection.
3. Certify Compliance
If the user's access is appropriate:
- Click the green Checkmark (Certify) button.
- Confirm the action in the popup dialog.
- The system logs your ID and the current timestamp as the "Verifier".
The user card will move to the Verified Colleagues section at the bottom of the list. Once all users in a department are verified, the department status updates to COMPLIANT.
