Who is authorized to request a Digital Signature?

The application Digital signing of documents allows you to:

• Request a Digital Signature Certificate
• Digitally Sign Documents with your certificate
• Verify if the Document is correctly signed and Validate the signature

The service is available to certain categories of users, but can be extended manually to more members.

How to be authorized to access "Digital Signing of Documents"

There are different methods through which an operator can access the service, according to the type of profile the member has. Here are listed the possible options.

Department managers - Automatic Authorization

All the operators that are responsible for an Area or a Department (First of second level structure), are automatically enabled to access the application without any further action.

If the role is revoked, the application will be immediately disabled.

Structured members (Staff) - Automatic Authorization

ll the operators that have been included in the ssystem group "Structured members", are automatically enabled to access the application without any further action.

If the role is revoked, the application will be immediately disabled.

Additional members - Manual Authorization

All the other members will not benefit from an automatic authorization. In order to extend the access, you can manually assign the permission by going to Administration > Management of Users and Group > Management of permissions related to applications > Digital signing of documents (digisign) and grant permission to the operator under the main permission digisign - The permission allows access to the application "Digital Signing of Documents" - where you can request a certificate, sign documents and verify signatures.

The user may need to logout and login again to see the updates and access the application.
