The application Digital signing of documents allows you to:
- Request a Digital Signature Certificate
- Digitally Sign Documents with your certificate
- Verify if the Document is correctly signed and Validate the signature
In this resource we will see how to Digitally Sign a document through Openstudio dashboard.
Only certain categories are authorized to access the service "Digital Signature of Documents"; please refer to this guide to see the possible scenarios - Who is authorized to request a Digital Signature?.
In order to digitally sign a document you need to have a valid certificate issued by Openstudio. You can check this resource on How to request a Certificate for a Digital Signature.
Please note that the Certificate Request will be manually handled by a member of OpenStudio team. For this reason, 24/48 hours may be necessary to process your request. Once the request is completed, you will receive an email notification.
From your certificates list you can see if the request is still in progress (Request Sent) or if the certificate is active, revoked or expired.
From the initial page, you can also see if a valid certificate is present.
Sign a document
If all the previous checks are correct, you can access the service "Documents Signature" to digitally sign a document.
